I was in there yesterday and asked the waitress to make sure my food was hot (farm hands breakfast) and told her the last time I was in the sausage was only brown on one side and the rest was barely warm I had to have it sent back for them to heat it up. When I got my meal I had food that had been sitting in a warmer that was the same as before and the sausage was brown yes but not hot and like eating a brick it was so hard they only thing was right was the egg, even the pancake was not hot. I did not bother to tell the waitress again as it was a waste of breath. They have no regard for their customers and will throw any left overs they have at you. After my husband paid I told the girl on the cash how terrible my breakfast was and that we will not be back again. We will be going to the steak house from now on as we had a great breakfast there. Oh! my husband asked for a fresh cup of coffee as the coffee was old and stewed. The waitress made out we did not know what good coffee was. !!!! Funny how the refill was so much better. ABC will not be getting our anymore.
If you 're in Cranbrook, it 's a pretty good breakfast decision. I am breakfast fussy and this place at least meets my fuss without too much trouble. Sure it 's dated and you have probably heard the stories for when your grandparents met here, but there are not many places in this town that get breakfast right. I like their coffee, which I was surprised at. I like the option to sub out hashbrowns for tomatos and they did a good job on the eggs and overall didnt charge me as much as some places. I have spent a little over a month in Cranbrook and tried the expensive trendy places and even the McD 's and I wish I had discovered this a little sooner.
A good family restaurant for a good price. Staff are friendly, kids get the usual kids menu, an activity page and crayons to keep them occupied. Mine got the Mac and cheese, and fish and chips, both of which got the thumbs up. The steak sandwich was quite good. Food was ready faster than expected. It's a family restaurant where you know what you're getting and they deliver exactly that. No frills but decent food at a reasonable price.
Would give this place a 0 if I could. Walked in with my mom, lady asked if we needed a table. Said no we wanted take out. She asked if we needed to look at the menu. We said yes and asked if we we could take it out for our seniors in the vehicle to look at. Lady said no. I offered to stay in while my mom took a menu out, lady still refused. Said her menu was $75. Took our business elsewhere. Ended up spending over $100 at Mr.Mikes
Ate here once last year while I was pregnant, and won't be back. There's nothing like coming for a breakfast pregnancy craving and getting under-cooked, overpriced food, with a hint of shabby service. No thanks.
