The menu is consistently impressive and enjoyable. I recently dined on the first night of their winter menu and was very pleased. The dishes were seasonal and relevant. Starting with the grilled portobello and warm kale salad, I was amazed at how well the kale was prepared – something I struggle to do at home. The freshness of the ingredients was exceptional, especially the sweet pickled teardrop peppers, a unique touch. For my appetizer, I had the seafood medley, which was the highlight of the meal despite being a bit salty. The sun dried tomato paste with capers complemented the octopus, prawns, and scallops perfectly. For my main course, I opted for the bison ribs over the wild boar loin, both of which were enticing options. The ribs were good, though I would have preferred a drier, smoked preparation. The chef did well with a challenging cut of meat, but there was a slightly overpowering cayenne flavor. Overall, I was impressed and would not hesitate to order it again, maybe after trying the wild boar loin. I can’t wait for my next visit to this outstanding restaurant.
