My sister and her boyfriend are vegan and Chef Jason whipped up three amazing dishes (one appetizer and two entrees) for them to enjoy. Us non-vegans also thoroughly enjoyed our meals, including the famous braised short rib. Thank you Chef Jason for an incredible meal!
I'm a chicken parm kinda guy. I try chicken parm everywhere I go. I was sent to New Jersey for military stuff and stayed at the hotel next to Chef Jason. I figured I would try it and glad I did! The Boom Boom Chicken is a unique chicken parm dish using vodka sauce (ranks top five I've ever had). And that was no fluke, I've been back two times since and the quality was still perfect! In addition, all the other food I've had at this place has been on point as well! Definitely worth a visit. The only other thing I will say is that this place is a BYOB, meaning if you want an alcoholic beverage be sure to pick something up before coming!
Even though they were short staffed the evening we went everyone was still very friendly and helpful, and everything got to us in a timely manner. The staff didn't seem to let it bother them too much. The food was great! We will definitely be back.
Service was hampered by fact that a few people had taken off as explained by the waiter. Food was served warm and plating of the veal chop was terrible Waiter claimed it was because of portion size being to large for plate. Waiter brought a second plate but appearance of initial plate made the dinner less than appetizing. Restaurant offered only a single desert of reese pieces cheese cake.
Celebrated my mom's birthday. Food and service were great. We live in Cranbury, but this was our first time there. Chef Jason even came out to make sure that everything was good. Highly recommend the pork chop!!
