Five Oaks Barbecue - Crane

Visited this quaint place today for lunch. I was amazed at how flavorful the food was. I had the smash burger with fries and the pulled pork nachos! Everything was great!!! I really was surprised with the fries. They had a great flavor! Service was great and food came out hot and fast. The restaurant is very clean and has plenty of space. I will be going back!

If I could give zero Stars I would. Their brisket was dry, their sides were bland, and definitely way too expensive for the quality that you're getting. Think McRib quality. The Establishment looks rundown like that don't even clean it at the end of the day. And while we were there one of the employees came out of the bathroom without washing his hands. Disgusting! I think the health department needs to give these guys a couple of visits.

Great food, they have the best brisket! And the service it top notch! And the building itself feels like home.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to navigate and wide open spaces with tables to pull your chair up to.

We stopped in for lunch today on our way to Branson. Delicious barbecue sandwich. My husband had the smashburger. The fries were perfect. We will make this a regular stop anytime we’re in the area.

This was some of the best BBQ I've had from a BBQ joint in a long time!I arrived just before the lunch crowd started showing up which meant no wait time. I asked the staff for their recommendations, and was offered a sample of their slaw and beans (since I was asking for a description of their flavor). I ended up ordering their recommendation of a Brisket Sausage plate with beans. The brisket was smoked perfectly with salt pepper, which is all I look for when judging KCBS competitions, but it could of used just a tab bit more seasoning. The sausage was absolutely spectacular! The beans had chucks of brisket mixed in, and while they were just a tad sweet for my liking, they were still extremely good.The only ding I have is that I wish the brisket was a tad hotter.Definitely coming back again if I'm in the area!
