While the menu looked very interesting we opted for oysters and appys having to eat so early to take advantage of the oyster happy hour. We had the east coast sampler. Probably should have tried another one and not this. The oysters were so tiny. So glad we didn't pay full price for these. Beef bites were borderline dry. Skip the shrimp roll. 5 small shrimp on a big bun. The lamb spring rolls were very meaty and delicious. A trio of gelato for dessert. Chocolate was amazing. The server was very attentive without being obtrusive. The owner did walk around and spoke to the other 4 tables but ours. Would like to go back to try the entree's.
Writing as I sit here waiting over an hour for our appetizers. Waited 20 minutes to even get water once we were seated. Absolutely unacceptable service, it shouldn't take so long for an appetizer that you don't even need to cook. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Service: 1
Really good spot all around. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
We had a reservation for two and brought an extra guest in the last minute. There were many empty seats / tables INSIDE and they could very well have pulled a chair on the side of a table or given us another table. Instead, we had to sit outside in the cold (which we did not want and nobody else was sitting outside). When someone came in without a reservation, they bet they were sitting the 3 people inside. Don't fill you. The only saving grace is the BYOB option.
Update: happy she survives covid!!! Still outstanding. Great mood and food. Oysters, Burrata, Hierloom tomatoes and tuna were all excellent. The Happy Hour Specials can still not surpass. Super fresh seafood that is creative, while also the raw bar standards. Service is very good and they have not missed a beat under the new management. Stop it.
