Contribuisci feedbackFood was excellent and you can feel that the person in the kitchen loves his job. On the other hand we were not welcomed by the waiter that seemed annoyed... It took 2 hours for this lunch. Thank God we had time.. I have never seen someone walking so many kilometers. Not efficient at all. Maybe we ended up on his bad day.... We might give it another go.. But just for the food, definitely not for the service.
We went to the Continental with a party of 16 guests from Switzerland and the USA for New Year's Eve. Communication with Sandra and Paul for the booking was very easy and accomodating. The food and service were excellent. We had 2 guests with food allergies and Paul took the time to discuss options with them before the dinner and made accomodations accordingly. We had a wonderful time and can only recommend this restaurant! Thank you Paul and Sandra
Yes, after trying several restaurants in Crans Montana, i can say that for me this is the Best place to eat in all valais. For me! I really love the Polenta Montagnard up at Colombire, the Entricote aux morilles and the Amazing view at Plumachit, the Biftec tartar at Taillens(although the Best tartar is here, at Continental ,the delicious pasta with șea fruits at Molino, and the generous portions of pasta at Michelangelo, the Crepes at the Yccor, close to the Patinoire(skating land , the Grillade at Le Chalet în Crans, and the Pizza at gerber, the Grilled duck with rice (mmmmmm..... at le Thai, and thuna sushi at Kaizen, but when it comes to eating the Best dinner for me is Le Continental. The place is not easy to find, it is a bit hidden, the Restaurant looks ok, nothing special, and their terrace is nice, but needs some renovations. But the food, really every plate that comes out of their kitchen has ' ' Passion ' ' written on it. This you can see în every of the Photos posted by their guests. I always get hungry just by looking at the Photos. Smile smile smile Service is friendly, always smiling, nothing is too much for them. I m not a fan of ' 'la chasse ' ', actually Last year was the first time when i ve tried it, and I ve liked it, but i felt a bit guilty there after as I feed the Forest animals every week with rest covers, still the plates were delicious, still for me The piuree is the "star "that convinced me to come and eat here:when I was a child my father used to cook for me and my smaller brother every Sunday, and our favorite plate was Piuree with chicken wings.And crepes, of course, but not many restaurants offer Crepes(pancakes as dessert. Pitty.... I will be here in November, and I will enjoy some Lunch menus this summer too:they are delicious and the prices are always fair, I ve totally appreciated every plate of this Restaurant, and the Coffee too.
4 of us came for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the balcony overlooking a small forrest. One of us has steak tartare which was excellent served with crispy fries. I had Sole Meunière served with mashed potatoes, also excellent full of flavour. We all shared a cafe Continental which is a mini version of a few desserts. Great food and atmosphere and well priced for the area…
We come here about once a month. The staff are very friendly and the place nice, modern and airy. For main I had steak and frites which was very good, steak cooked medium rare and the chips had a great flavour with a knob of herb butter. For desert we asked if they could do a cafe glacé which was not on the menu but the chef made us a great one : overall service great, food great well worth a visit if you are nearby…
