The Kangaroo Inn - CRAVEN ARMS

We visited The Kangaroo on a Friday evening while staying at a nearby campsite. The restaurant has a lovely, inviting atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. That night they had a fish and chips special, and we received a very generous portion that tasted wonderful. The prices were reasonable as well. They were also super accommodating to our dog. I would definitely recommend this place 100% and would love to return!

The beautiful country pub served a delicious burger and chips, all prepared outside in the beer garden. It was a lovely experience!

I had a lovely pint at an affordable price. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, making it a great local spot. The cozy fire added to the experience. It's a charming little pub that I would definitely recommend!

A real country pub with wood fire and cozy atmosphere. this was the only pub that was just a few minutes walk from our accommodation and didn't let us down. we had lunch and it was delicious; they come early to avoid being absent on their meat of choice. the cook talked to us about our meal and was super accommodating. Wednesday is fish and chip night and it is popular with the local community. we went, we ate and we were really happy! the chips were homemade klobige chips and the muddy heaps had a big taste. the fish was exalted light, tasty and the teig was crispy and tasteful. we could say that the oil was clean and fresh and it wasn't so greasy after the taste so often with roasted pub food. the only part is that eating is served only a few set evenings of the week. if there are limited resources in walking distance, it would be nice to play there for lunch on a laune. even sandwiches would be nice.

This was a great surprise, on a cycling holiday on our last day spotted this little jem on the main road by Craven Arms. Popped in on the off chance for a lunch time meal and had a smashing meal. I had fish and chips and my mates had burgers. The food was excellent, generous, light fluffy fish, crisp batter and hand cut chips. All this for under £10. Now for the good bit, the hospitality from the landlord and landlady was exceptional. The pub is immaculate and has a large beer garden which is to the same standard as the rest of the pub. This is a fantastic pub.
