Steak 'n Shake - Crawfordsville

Wasn't in a steak n shake for a while, because it was my father's favorite place to eat and we just lost him. So while I went to other shops in Crawfordsville, I decided to eat in this one for a bite. You have changed to a kiosk system to order your food, which was different. Somehow, it kind of liked it, but hate that the server jobs are not edited by a person because they usually have friendly servers to the Steak n Shakes that I was. The manager here was super friendly and helpful from the moment I went in the door. He made small conversations and helped me with a mess I had done on the kiosk. My order came out quickly and was hot, fresh and tasty. So far, every meeting I had in Crawfordsville was good. Beautiful little Indian city!

Great food as usual. Just can't get used to the new normal, kiosk ordering. I miss being waited on !

We were pleasantly surprised by the self-order kiosk at the front counter. It was well-designed and easy to use. The hamburgers were served piping hot with just the right amount of fat, which we always appreciate. The French fries and onion rings were also tasty. Overall, it was a great experience!

We prefer the new ordering system where we can choose our own meals and refill our drinks independently. The kitchen appears to be more relaxed, and there’s no waitress rushing around looking overwhelmed. Our food was accurate and served promptly, hot and fresh.

I'm not a fan of the kiosk ordering system. While I understand it's a necessary measure due to Covid, I really miss having servers attend to us. I appreciate the effort you're making to manage the situation, but I don't enjoy having to get my own food, drinks, condiments, and plastic utensils. That said, the food we had was hot and absolutely delicious!
