Well, the sanitation grade is 95.5, but overall the whole restaurant and bathrooms haven't been cleaned in a while. The salt and pepper shakers were disgusting. If you're traveling and desperate the food is ok. The vegetable soup was surprisingly good! A name brand restaurant might be a better choice.

Great place for lunch or dinner... A bit plain. I had the club sandwich. It was amazing. The fries were great. The server was pleasant and accommodating. The prices are lower than average.

Old South is your country style cooking kind of place. Full menu with daily specials as well as a nice dessert section (try the pies). To me, the food is not just good but it felt like food without all the added salt and additives that other places use. This is like granny 's in the kitchen and she cares bout your blood pressure and health. It 's simple, nothing fancy, nice portions, just some good ole comfort food. I had the country fried steak; which comes with 2 of them, the collards, mac-n-cheese, and dinner rolls. The collards are just cooked as is. Nothing added to them so if you are one that doesn 't do pork in your greens, you 're good here. They have vinegars that you can add if you like that as well. The mac-n-cheese is so creamy! I used the dinner rolls to wipe the bowl clean. The country fried steak is thin with a nice crunchy breading that didn 't fall apart or off the meat from the gravy. As i mentioned earlier, you get 2. The gravy is you basic white gravy which i also wiped clean with the dinner rolls. Nothing fancy just good, smooth, not runny, lick-your-plate gravy. They are located right off I85 with plenty of parking. There is plenty of booth style seating inside. It 's clean, the staff is courteous, it 's just a great place to bring the family and fell like you 're at home. Next time i 'm around i 'm stopping in again.

Food is good, staff and hospitality even better. Was a little let down ordering vegetable plate and whether fried tomatoes or squash, still had the same flour breading without much flavor. Still love this place and visit every week.
