I built my own pasta bowl with angle hair, pesto sauce and garnel. we immediately appeared when they opened and sat at the bar. we need to get to know michael, the owner and had a great talk about living in a ski town. we recommend marchitellis to anyone who comes to crested butte for a visit. can not wait to go back!
I loved this place. big, chic dinner with 10 of my closest friends. we enjoyed it very much. the scallops were world-class! the seafood lasagna was pretty good, but after tasting the scalopps of my wife I realized that I had ordered wrong. our group drank a lot of good wine and beer. the Italian cream cake was fantastic (almost as good as the scallops). the tiramisu was a little disappointing, but I can't complain about this place. my favorites in cb and I'm back.
We called this place at least 20 times to secure a reservation and got nothing but a strange activated signal. Finally, we have just appeared 10 minutes before the opening and we have told of a dismissed host that they were too busy to answer the phones and they could not sit down. all negative assessments of their attitude have been confirmed. try bonez instead! large Mexican kitchen and large service
If in the city of Crested-Butte make it necessary to plan a dinner reservation at marchitelli. eating is incredble and uses unique aromas to kick traditional Italian dishes. our 10 person group had laughs, scallopini with elk and mush, lamb and auberginen. appetizers were bruschetta, filled mushrooms and calamari. each and every dish was fabulous. the elch was sooo tender and the taste was better than calf or hawn. teig to describe the rich but butter taste of this protein, for the carnivores out there they have to try this dish. reservations are required as this is the way to a reasonable price meal that tastes as it pays a 2 or 3 times for it. found it very reasonable compared to other places in Crested-Butte.
This was not our first time at Marchitelli's and it won't be our last. The staff is very friendly, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. If your looking for a nice meal off the main street Marchetelli's is it. I had the lamb shank, my wife had pasta and my son had the elk cannelloni. On top of that, we had a walnut lemon cake that we devoured. We will keep going back on every visit, sometimes twice.
