Tims Fish and Chips - Creston

We visited this restaurant while passing through town. It has a charming retro vibe and the staff is friendly, but I have to be honest - the food is bland and overpriced. The portion of fish was generous, but it lacked flavor and was greasy. The fries were similar to ones you would find in the frozen section of a grocery store, and the chowder tasted like a cheap canned variety. Unfortunately, we did not feel well after eating here. I wonder if the restaurant is struggling due to COVID and is using cheaper ingredients in their dishes. I'm puzzled as to why people enjoy this food. Regrettably, we would not recommend this restaurant or return.

Whenever we are in the Creston area on vacation, we make sure to stop at Tim's. The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff are always friendly. Our go-to order is the fish and chips and chowder, which never disappoint. This time, we brought friends with us and they were so impressed that they said if we had gone to Tim's on the first night of our trip, we would have eaten there for every meal. We highly recommend Tim's Fish and Chips.

I drove to Creston specifically to try Tim's Fish and Chips for their fish/cod chips and service. It was excellent, with a good portion size and value. It's kind of self-service, but the staff is friendly and fast.

Busy place with a small indoor dining area and outdoor patio. The staff member who brought our food out to us was chatting and laughing with many of the customers making for a very nice dining experience.

We stopped by while passing through town, It’s a cute retro little place and the staff is nice but to be completely honest the food is bland and overpriced. The fish is a good big portion but it is tasteless and greasy, fries are like...the ones you can buy at grocery store frozen section and chowder taste the same as a can of $1.99Campbells.... I’m sorry to write this but we didn’t feel well after eating. I’m not sure if it’s because the restaurant is struggling with COVID so they used cheaper alternatives with our meal. I’m confused why people like this food... Sadly we would not recommend or go back.
