Taverna Garden - crete

We ate here a few times because it was fantastic. this is a family farm and the daughters are vegetarian and vegan. we had the most delicious food and the service was great. we were given on the menu many flavors of vegan options! highly recommended! updated by previous review on 2021-08-16

We had a wonderful evening at Julias place. She was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quiet and placed in a beautifully overgrown backyard. The olive oil and the Raki is home made by her father and everything was freshly cooked and delicious! Taverna Garden is an family owned business and as a guest you will feel really welcome and home. It’s totally vegan friendly and Julia offered us even more vegan options then there were on the menu. All in all a full recommendation! (I want to give 5 stars but the app forbid it, because it’s not 100% vegetarian)

Beautiful, sitting outside and great service so carefully. (brought grated vegan cheese for pasta and a top plate on the house as desert for me) was delicious! and more options than just pasta, although the bolo was delicious. we loved everything and it wasn't expensive. We went around this region, looking for a vegan birthday cake. We need to know the owner of Taverna Garden who is a nice real Greek elder. It turned out that his daughter was responsible for the vegan options on the menu, of which there are several. Since both the hospitable man and the beautiful seating area seemed like a perfect dinner spot, we came back in the evening. The food was good, the experience was great. Julia is beautiful and she went out of her way to help us find a birthday cake. That was a delicious chocolate cake from the terrace of Ma Douce.

Service 12/10 Essen was 9/10 location 10/10 price 10/10 We loved it! Many vegan and vegetarian options, they also have vegan feta This is not listed in the menu. Very friendly and flexible service. In any case, this place would recommend
