Checkers - Crosby

I have visited this restaurant in three locations: downtown Houston, Webster, and now the one north of Crosby. My order was accurate, hot, and delicious. The fries were perfectly cooked, and my meal completely satisfied my hunger.

"Okay everyone, this restaurant has been inconsistent in the past, but with the current management, I have no complaints. The manager always greets us when we arrive. The food is fresh, so it may take a bit longer to be served, but the restaurant is clean and well-maintained."

The food is delicious, especially the fries which are very addicting! Unfortunately, there are only two locations that I know of, one in downtown Houston and one in Webster. I wish there were more locations between the south Houston area and Galveston. It seems criminal that they only have two locations when their fast food competitors have more. The third location is near Conroe, which is 60 miles away from Deer Park, Tx.

OK.. it's checkers.. my expectations are not high. They literally always get my burger order wrong. It's become a running joke in the family. It got to the point I only order the chili dogs. Seriously.. being going there since they opened. They have NEVER gotten my order right on the first try. And it's not some crazy instructions. No ketchup add jalapenos. Can't pull it off. But the chili dogs are good. Now.. the reason we keep going. 1. It's super close. 2. It's relatively clean. 3. Prices are decent. 4. And this is the big one. It's the staff. They've always been very friendly and courteous. And they do try...

Stopped here for a lunch and the clerk was chatting it up person in the drive through and you could tell it was a returning customer. Eventually he came over and started taking my order very professionally. The food came out quick and was ok... the spicy chicken sandwich doesn't have hardly any spice to it and the burger was ok.... The place was a little dirty despite there being no customers.
