Koy has some really good food. I enjoyed some spicy chicken entree, and the portion, taste, spice, was well worth the purchase. The restaurant was dead and empty for 5:30pm on a Saturday. The bar is small, but the ambience is relatively cool. Solid place.
Food tasted amazing, our server and chef worked amazingly with us on a seed oil allergy. The reason deducted stars is the music played had cussing in it and the bowls are very rice heavy. Not a lot of meat and veggies in the bowls.Don’t bring your children unless you want them to listen to music with cussing in it. We have a 4 yr old and the music was a big turn off.
Our server David was so amazing and attentive the entire time and Izzy was so funny and personable!!PERSONABLE!!! FOOD 10/10MUSIC 10/10I loved my overall experience ;
Definitely fusion. They ran out of kalbi meat (short ribs) on a Friday?? We were asked about substituting bulgogi...for kalbi tang. Suggestion to the restaurant, If u run out of the type of meat to be served, do not substitute. Just say you ran out and cant serve the associated meals. This is what steak places do all the time. Bulgogi substituting for kalbi is entirely different taste and type of meat. Rice and kimchi was fresh. Mandu was meh. Soon dubu was fair. Not spicy enough. If you want original Korean food, this place is unfortunately not this place. Service was good despite the food.
