Requested and exchange for haddock it was not really haddock, it was some other cheap fish pawned off to the public as haddock. I've enjoyed legals for over 40 years. Not a fan anymore. Worst seafood ever!
Whenever we go through Boston Logan we stop at Legal, at this location. Something has changed. This time on our first leg there were ‘no fried items equipment broken’ service was good (it was closing time but we weren’t pushed our lobster roll overdressed but since we were splitting it, it was nicely arranged on 2 plates. On our return it was ‘no baked items equipment broken.’ We ordered fried shrimp appetizer (clear we wanted to enjoy that first and a split lobster roll. The lobster roll arrived immediately, thrown on one plate in obvious haste, the appetizer came 5min after. Servers were spending time chatting extensively vs paying attention. This is obviously a management problem. An inability to promptly address (or maintain? equipment issues and inconsistent standards for kitchen and servers. Our ritual at Logan, our hello and goodbye to Boston, has been marred. Fix it please!
After going through TSA security we stopped for breakfast at Legal Seafood and the hostess told us that breakfast had stopped being served. We asked about spots along the C concourse that we might find sit down breakfast and a waitress heard our request and stated that she could serve breakfast. We walked in and Meredith was so accommodating and personable. Breakfast was outstanding and will continue to be our go to place on future flights in terminal C.
This review is for the Terminal E location. (Not sure if there are two or if Terminal C closed) we had to wait in line, but the hosts were very personable and efficient. We got seats right at the bar, ordered wine and the crab cakes starters for each of us. The prices are expensive, but the quality, taste and presentation were excellent so for an airport meal experience, highly recommended.
I’ve been to L. S. Many times in the past 25 years. The food was very disappointing. The Caesar salad (2 orders). were terrible, watered down dressing, 2 croutons, 4 shavings of cheese. The Cajun shrimp had little taste and were very tough in texture. Orders of fish chips was soso. Don’t mind spending for quality but this was a 2 of 5. I expect more form this chain restaurant.
