Contribuisci feedbackDelicious food, as always. Started with the tuna tartare and cheese/tomato pizza, both were amazing and made to perfection. Husband had the sirloin and I had a Caesar salad. Highly recommend. Flavors are well defined and balanced.
Haven't been to Mistral for a while and it seems not to be the great restaurant I remember. Service was very good but food was good but not exceptional. Had the Halibut main course which was bland at best. The appetizer and dessert were better. Not likely I will be visiting any time soon.
During my year in Boston, I visited a restaurant that served the best food I've ever had. The pre-dinner bread was delicious, and the dishes like escargot, mussels, duck, and steak were all perfect. The wasabi-flavored potatoes that came with the steak were amazing, and the risotto under the duck had the perfect mushroom aroma and texture. My friends from Hong Kong recommended this place, and it has left me with a truly special memory.
We enjoyed our experience. The food and service were excellent. The prices on the check did not match the menu prices. Not unreasonable prices but misrepresenting prices is not ok.
Wonderful cuisine and service in a Boston classic. Not inexpensive, but perfect for that special occasion. Can be active and noisy, so you may want to request a table along the far wall, away from the bar. Wonderful entrees include the halibut and the duck. The mussels appetizer is special, as are the profiteroles for dessert.
