I can't go to another bubble tea place and not think of how subpar the drinks are compared to here lol. FAVEEEEEEE.
I have order from Royal tea many times. I love the mango cheese foam drink. It’s the best in Boston. I understand price increases on materials but using a cheap cup and no cover on mango cheese foam drink is unacceptable. I did not drop my cup but it was crack when I just poke my straw inside. Now, I didn’t get to enjoy my drink and it was pouring all over me. I guess even the straw is better quality that the cup. Please change your cups!
We had an unpleasant experience with Royal Tea, specifically for an order placed on September 24, 2023 and a subsequent interaction with one of your staff on September 25, 2023 from Royal Tea Chinatown location, 23b Tyler St, Boston, MA, 02111.On September 24, we placed an order through Chowbus for 4 drinks, and took extra care to specify in the notes that 3 of those should be without sugar. Unfortunately, all four drinks arrived with sugar, making them unsuitable for my friends. We understand that restaurants can get busy and oversights can happen. However, we were disappointed when the staff dismissed our concerns by mentioning that all of your drinks have natural sweetness. We can differentiate between natural sweetness and added sugar since we ordered drinks without sugar many times from this location. This response felt dismissive of our genuine concern. Our main issue, however, arose the following day when we called to rectify the situation. A young woman answered the phone and informed us that her manager was not available. We asked if she could help us reach her manager, as Chowbus advised that they could only assist if they received confirmation from Royal Tea. Regrettably, her response was far from helpful. She informed us that she did not have the manager’s contact, which was surprising to us. She then was unwilling to assist or facilitate a resolution by mentioning that she cannot help us reach anyone from the group. Most importantly, she hang up our phone abruptly when we were still asking her for help for alternate solutions. It was disheartening to experience this level of service, especially since our initial reason for the call was a simple issue about the order that can be solved with a remade or refund. This is the first time we have encountered such an experience, let alone being led to believe that a staff member does not have access to any of her group’s contact details.
This must be my favorite bubble tea spot in all the city. The matcha ice cream topped milk tea is the best thing invited since sliced bread. Sure, the location is very basement of Chinatown non-luxe feels (which it literally is), but the bubble tea is unmatched in tasty goodness.
Gooddd!! I like the taro tea it’s better than most places i’ve tried
