Sam Lagrassa's - Crossing

Sandwiches are an experience. The pastrami is juicy and rich. Just beware of the major food coma!? But it is worth it.

Iconic for a reason! It has always been on my bucket list to try Sam LaGrassa’s but i have been putting it off and after trying it I regretted not trying the it sooner.

Simply amazing! Worth every penny , in love with the Reuben

I’ve eaten here twice and both times I felt it was just OK. But I could be wrong because this place is poppin every time I’ve walked past. Perhaps I am ordering wrong. But I’m just not impressed. The pastrami is extremely tender and juicy but it’s not overly flavorful. I also need to order extra toppings and condiments and I’m sure I’d enjoy the sandwich better. I live a good pastrami sandwich especially and Rueben sandwich with sauerkraut. This time I made a mistake and ordered the Rumanian Pastrami. It was very simple… meat and cheese. These sandwiches are very large and also highly expensive. $20+ each depending on which one you get.
