Some sushi restaurants in the United States are not run by Japanese people, so be sure to confirm that the owner is Japanese before visiting. The 1st floor was mainly occupied by groups, so I ate sushi alone at the BF counter. When you come to Boston, Samuel Adams Boston Lager is probably your only choice of beer The knob is kimchi tofu. However, the cold tofu that came out was actually firm tofu! Hmm, why not silk? The chef was of Mexican descent, but is this the reality of American sushi restaurants? Since it was cold, I was tempted by the ramen on the menu, but if I don't go home after eating sushi, I lose my identity as a Japanese. I wanted to try something a little different, so I ordered the Spicy Scallop Roll. Since I love scallops, I paid attention to the arrangement, but the result was mediocre, and I managed to recover the tofu. The bill was $31.99 excluding tip.
Its ok , because of its great location on Newbury St , they dont need to work much hard to have costumers . I have been there few times , the miso ramin is good , sushi roll are nice , for my view on the staff if you are lucky they will smile . This is why i said there location makes them busy . So no hard work to improve .
The food is as averagest as it can be. Eel maki tasted weird and lobster shells left in the Don. The sauce tasted too much for a person to handle and the Thai tea tasted half cup of sugars
Very simple clear cut. Fast service, seating outside ON Newbury Street to watch all go by! Rice bowls my fav....healthy refreshing fun to eat. Sushi interesting fresh delish. I think it's worthwhile fairly priced for all.
Amazing food, but a little overpriced. Get the pork buns! The tea is excellent as well.
