Checked in at front desk and all 5 minutes early.Food was very good. Nice spot before red sox. Great alternative to other fenway area stuff BUT more expensive than other fenway places, but BBQ was pretty good, and yes.more than Yard House but much better. Had chopped brisket tray. Some of the better BBQ I have had in Boston.
Waited for four months, drove more than 2 hours and I was very disappointed. The smoked sliced brisket had no smokey flavor, no smoke ring, tasted like it was boiled. The collard greens had weird flavor. Like someone added old butter that had been open in the ice box for years. The only items that were good were the beans, Mac and cheese and the biscuits. Have to give kudos to our server, she was very friendly and on never missed a beat with our service. Sorry Tiffani, won't go back
Total posers. The barbecue was so salty it was inedible. The only hot sauce they had was “pineapple habanero” nothing else. Portions for the Sweet Cheek sampler tray were very skimpy at $28.00 . We got the Texas nachos which were good, but they charged $3.00 extra for a small cup of buffalo sauce. So stingy. Service was tired, sad, and sporadic. What a bummer. Oh and a $13 local IPA tasted exactly like every IPA on the planet. Boring and pedestrian.
I can't wait to experience this . I was born in .Massachusetts can't wait to see Boston more
Well BBQ is ruined for me now because SCQ set the bar so high. Absolutely amazing! That's some slap yo momma BBQ. Those ranch beans need to canned and shipped so I don't go through withdrawal.
