Unassuming restaurant with a sub basement entrance, though the somewhat shabby appearances are deceiving- the food selection and quality are both quite high. The pork green beans surprisingly had a kick to them, and the seafood tofu clay pot was perfect for the two us.
Good place nice home like vibes. If you aren’t familiar with some city set ups, it might be confusing that this place is below street level. As for the food we had a fantastic chicken, and crispy rice bowl, tofu and braised pork, and an egg wash pork chop. Oh and some really good Chinese vegetable. If you like good Chinese food this is a good place.
The most authentic experience that one could ask for! The portions were more than generous. We simply had beef fried rice, and chicken lo mein as we were looking for to go food. The beef to rice ratio had the beef outnumbering the rice if you can imagine that. The lo mein had thin sliced chicken breast that actually left you trying to find a bite that didn't have at least a sliver of chicken in it, along with the freshest chopped veggies perfectly crispy, and plentiful that tied the plate together into a complete meal that keeps you taking bites long after you should be done. This is the place to be if you want it done the right way! Thank you so much for the greatest experience!
An absolute belter of an authentic Chinese restaurant. Food was amazingly cooked and well presented without being too stuffy. The portions were decent and had a great balance with the ingredients. The service was everything I wanted as a non Cantonese speaker one person able to fully understand, but everyone able to help in some way. Spent twenty minutes walking around Chinatown and this was definitely the right choice!
