Rice Palace - Crowley

I thoroughly enjoyed my fried crustacean platter! However, my friend’s fried oyster dish didn't sit well with him and made him ill the following day. Fortunately, he wasn't charged for his meal. The kitchen admitted they knew the oysters had been stored for a while but thought they might still be safe to serve. They acknowledged their mistake and sincerely apologized.

This place is truly wonderful! It’s like a small piece of heaven—especially for a truck stop! I would never have expected to find authentic Louisiana cuisine in such a hidden gem. My biggest praise goes to the service and the food—both are outstanding! I literally have no complaints about this restaurant and sincerely believe it’s underrated compared to its competition!

Parking suck because local drivers do not know how to park, and **** all the spots when they say to park behind others. I will not park there anymore or spend money there.

The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are great for the price. You never know who you might run into at this place or what stories you might share. It has a nostalgic charm that can transport you back to your childhood. Make sure to visit for dinner—it’s an experience filled with memories. You’ll eat, laugh, and perhaps even shed a few tears during your visit, and that’s perfectly okay!
