Rice Palace - Crowley

My fried crawfish platter was excellent! However, my friend's fried oyster platter made him sick to his stomach for the next day. (He wasn't charged for his meal, and the kitchen said they knew the oysters had been in their freezer a long time… but thought they might still be ok… Realizing that they were wrong, they sincerely apologized.

This place is so wonderful! Such a little slice of heaven (within a truck stop, nonetheless! I never would have expected AUTHENTIC Louisiana cuisine from such a tucked away place! My biggest compliments come from both the service AND the CUISINE BOTH!! THEY REALLY KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK!! I literally don't have a single complaint about this place and personally think that this establishment is UNDERRATED!! STOP HERE AND BE COMPLETELY SATISFIED!!

Gumbo was too thick and too spicy. Like left over. Meat pieces too big. Redfish was dry and tough. Rice dressing was ok. Very disappointing.

Food absolutely delicious.would request this to anyone who wants a home-cooked meal and clean atmosphere and friendly people. Quick service.

Back again for a 3rd time! Ordered different plates, always good!!!! Friendly staff, clean place, awesome food!!!
