First time I tried a bao bun and it definitely won't be the last! The prawn one was unusual and delicious. Lamb one was equally tasty. I had the impression that good quality ingredients were used.
Excellent Taiwanese food in the centre of Croydon, the Bao boa's are delicious as is the Bubble tea.
Good little Taiwanese restaurant near East Croydon station offering traditional street food. Food quality very good and staff friendly and attentive. Dining experience was let down by broken front door allowing cold wind to blow in throughout the meal. Average price for London Starters drinks and mains (there was a lot of food) for 4 people came to £100 service.
Despite the limited space and number of tables, this restaurant makes up for it with excellent service and a focus on customer satisfaction. The staff was friendly and efficient, checking on us twice during our meal. The food was delicious, especially the teriyaki mushroom bao, chicken katsu curry, and prawn cake bao. Highly recommended.
