The Postal Order - Croydon

My husband and I absolutely love Wetherspoons but our experience here has not been good. We are working here for the week and staying down the road. Unfortunately, the place seems dirty with ring marks on the tables and Wetherspoons magazines stuck to the tables. The staff are lovely and work very hard but there is not enough of them to maintain the standards of hygiene that should be a given, let alone in times of CV-19. A real shame.

I went to the restaurant during the 50% off meal promotion. They were out of fish and burgers, but I understand it was a busy time for them. The restaurant is a decent size and has a typical pub atmosphere. The prices for food and drinks are reasonable. Overall, no complaints.

The staff at this restaurant were very welcoming, the food was delicious and prepared perfectly. The fish had a crispy batter and the chips were excellent, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff were prompt and efficient, the restroom facilities were well-maintained, and overall it was a pleasant dining environment.

This pub is affordable and lively, likely one of the best Wetherspoons I have visited. It's a great spot to begin or end your evening without going wrong. The pub promotes app ordering but you can still order at the bar. They have made efforts for social distancing, but unfortunately, some customers don't follow the guidelines.

On holiday so called in for lunch we had two meals with a pint of cider and beer for £16:10 the meal was lovely fast service and friendly staff would recommend it.
