Smoked Kitchen - Crozet

“Reserved Night” is our night especially held for each other and nobody else! Our reserved night this night led us to smoked kitchen and tap. What started when the Smoked BBQ Company from a grocery car at Charlottesville Historic Downtown Mall has now grown into an amazing full service restaurant in downtown Crozet. Smoked has reached the perfect harmony of smoke and taste for its slowly smoked grill. This process and its secret dry rubs give the meat the juicy taste and slightly smoked taste guaranteed to please. Your scratched pages are fantastic. I always enjoy her perfectly roasted vegetables and you need to taste their cuddly potatoes with bacon. Your menu also offers fried chicken, salads, burgers and vegetarian options. The owner of Smoked has definitely reached his goal to deliver high quality product at reasonable prices. Isn't that enough for you to spend a “maintained night” in Smoked Kitchen and Tap?

Smoked was highly recommended by friends from Crozet. Yesterday my first visit was to the pretty new restaurant in the city. At first it is a cozy place. You don't feel like it's a hurry to go. It's nice to relax a bit. The ambience is a little louder, but I owe it to the acoustics. Not really too much of a disadvantage. Our waitress was Casey; that was her third day on the job. For someone who wasn't with Smoked for a long time, she knew her stuff and knew it well. I would like to ask questions about the food items in the menu; she had exact and detailed answers for all my questions. Finally, I settled on the fried chicken sandwich and sweet potatoes (kudos to Smoked for with the only real mayonnaise in America Duke's). It took 10 15 minutes until my order came, but I tell you... it was worth waiting. The pairing of fried chicken sandwich and sweet potato friries was a game made in the sky. The part was right... not too much and not too little. I was filled, but not crowded. Honestly, it was one of the best tasting sandwiches I had in a while. The sign of well cooked meat is its taste. If the meat is cooked properly for the first time, you need nothing else to bring out the taste. Long story short, I was very happy with my first visit to Smoked. I hope I'll be back in town.

The grill here is really good! But ordering my favorite thing is a cheeseburger! It is always the absolute best burger here in Crozet!!! And then the Cobb Salad is! I know it seems strange to order a salad in a BBQ joint... but it is always on point with crispy, fresh salad, the candied bacon is to die, and other amazing other toppings! You can even get a protein cup if you feel particularly hungry or just can't resist the BBQ! Also these homemade pickles are soooo yummy that I always order an additional page of them when I am there. Finally, the Jalapeño Creme Mass is hands down my favorite side... with the fries running a very tight second! I am so glad that this amazing place exists here in Crozet and try to stop as often as I can!!! Trust me, eat there... you'll be so happy that you did it!

The first time here. Sa at the bar and ordered a few beers and the nachos with chicken. They were the best I've ever eaten. Tony was great to make suggestions, and we wounded with the fried chicken sandwich, crowned greens and the framed corn. Again the best food ever. Loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. Worth the ride.
