Old Fashioned Pizza - Crugers

This is the second time in the last three weeks that we have ordered from Gerard's, and each time my family and I have gotten very sick. I hope they improve their quality control. We have always enjoyed dining here, but unfortunately we will not be ordering from them again.

The large pizza was delicious! It was our first time at this restaurant and it was hot and ready when we arrived. The man who made the pizza was very friendly. It was also very reasonably priced. We will definitely try some of their other pizza options in the future. I highly recommend this pizza!

I am updating my previous review since the restaurant has new ownership (not sure why Yelp has not removed old reviews). I had a simple slice with good cheese and tasty sauce. However, the crust was uneven - softer towards the center but became harder towards the edges. This would be a decent slice in NYC, but in comparison to the disappointing pizza in Westchester, it was quite good.

Old fashioned pizza was terrible, so I was skeptical about this place when it turned the hands; I was not disappointed to try gerards. they made a complete 180. the personal is very friendly and even bring her eating on her table, most pizzerias will not get them with this level of service. the kerl will make pizza, but still take the time to feel welcome. they can say they want to be there. also the inner was completely rebuilt. the pizza is great, to go northwest. the sauce is well seasoned and sweet, it is on the chunker side that I like. the crust is thin and not bland, another bonus. eating the kitchen is really what surprises me, it is exceptionally good for a pizzeria. everything I had from the kitchen was great, they get restaurant quality eat for pizzeria prices. Overall, I am very glad that the new regime has taken over for such a sad apology for a pizzeria. gerard, I don't know who you are, but you do it right.

It's the best food I've ever had, the service was good and all workers were friendly and kind.
