River Heights - Crump

We stumbled upon River Heights on Mother's Day after experiencing long wait times at three other restaurants. It turned out to be a hidden gem! We enjoyed mozzarella sticks with a delicious homemade marinara sauce, fried fish fillet with hush puppies and loaded baked carrots. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly, unlike others that tasted bland. The hush puppies had a delicious paprika flavor that made them pop. The loaded baked carrot was also a hit. We saved room for the strawberry cake, which was the best cake we've ever had. We regret not finding this place sooner and wish we had taken a photo before devouring everything. Thank you, River Heights, for a wonderful Mother's Day meal.

Eating is very good. we always enjoyed eating and enjoying the atmosphere.

The dining experience was mediocre. The restaurant's amenities are basic and uninspiring. My steak was overcooked but had a decent flavor. If it had been cooked to medium rare, as requested, it would have been much better. Additionally, using fake bacon bits on salads and potatoes is lazy and unappetizing for a supposedly upscale restaurant. This establishment has potential, but they need to strive for improvement.

This is the best restaurant with a stunning view of the Tennessee River. You can enjoy looking at the two islands in the middle of the river and also catch a glimpse of the city of Savannah across the water.

Unfortunately, the food looked really good but we couldn't get served. We were told a male would be our server but after sitting there for well over 15 minutes, he had not even acknowledged us. We did see him go take an order and while doing that, he was checking his messages on his watch and taking his time. Which is fine, I guess, but it would have been nice if he told us he would be over shortly. Left money on the table for our drinks and left. Disappointed as the food looks great!
