Excellent food, service and worth. this was the second silvester we celebrated silvester in la z cruz mexiko. they offer a prescribed four cursor menus with an option of two main courses. in this year it was a lamb or lobster dick. that was great.

We were so happy to return to La Cruz post pandemic and find that Masala’s was still open. The food was perfect, excellent service and atmosphere. My only quibble was the food salad and a pasta dish) served in bowls. The bowls are very...deep and I found them awkward.

We are locals so when I called ahead to make a reservation I asked for the 4 of us to be seated as close to the front (and air) as possible. So of course, we were given en the last table in the back. We...asked for the overhead fan to be turned on like the others but were told that wasn 't working. Our waiter never came back for a drink order (my personal rule is not to look at the menu until I have ordered a drink even if it 's water. Eventually, a better table for 4 opened up and we moved after the waiter 's superior approved it. I ordered a Manhattan but was told they had no cherries for it. Saturday night and packed...no one thought to go to the grocery store for a bottle of cherries. Otherwise, the drink was excellent. When we went to order I thought the waitress was going to give us specials, but no, it was a list of things on the menu NOT available tuna, duck and I forget the other thing. Also, with our salads, my friend and I asked for bread, Eventually, the waitress came out with a plate with three small pieces of bread for a table of four, But what we had was very good... maybe go earlier not on a Saturday and service will be better and they will still have bread, but none at 7:30!

Best restaurant with outstanding service. The best in Nayarit. Food is delicious and presentation beautiful. Rita and Julio are the best. Have been going there for years!!!

Visited Masala late yesterday for the first time and I would most certainly return. They had just opened when we arrived so probably not completely ready for us, but the staff were wonderful from the start. Chef came out to show us the fresh shrimp...they had for one of the specials of the evening. My girlfriend and I ordered that special, my husband had pork tenderloin and my girlfriends husband lamb shank. Caesar salads and bruschetta to start. Everything was perfect, well prepared, beautifully served and in our opinion well priced. With tip my husband and my bill was $1400. Definitely try, make sure you have a reservation it fills up very quickly, obviously very popular.
