The couple that ran the restaurant was very pleasant and a pleasure to talk to. Do not be in a hurry when you order, they take the time to create a 5-star menu for you. I tried the fireball with seafood. Spool good. I'd definitely go back.
We went three times during our stay in La Cruz. The seats are outdoors, the menu is simple, the prices are very reasonable, and the employees/owners go out the way to make sure you take care. But the most remarkable is the food! So good and fresh, really well done. We recommend the shrimp fried rice and the baked role, the Hawaiian role and the pastoral role. Don't let La Cruz try without this little jewel!
Tasty place. The outdoor seating on the neighborhood street under green lanterns has chill music playing for a nice lounge vibe. Service is pleasant and quick as this is a lovely small business. The seared yellowfin tuna was seasoned perfectly and tasted great. The rolls' flavors may have been a bit bland but that may have been my selection? I'd recommend trying it out if having an urge for sushi. Jorge Roll was my favorite (not a cream cheese fan) this roll was tasty and spicy.
Very good, we had perfectly cooked seared tuna medallion and wok vegetables. We shared and it was a lot. We would definitely recommend this Japanese restaurant. The owners are very gracious and have made suggestions.
I've been eating here for years. It's the next restaurant in the marina and my favorite sushi I had in Mexico. John's simple recipes do not mask the taste of fresh fish, and I am glad to say I will come there for many years. The service is always excellent and it is always tailored to my special nutritional needs. Gluten-free soy sauce is hard to find in Mexico!
