Chester's Fried Chicken - Crystal Beach

It is superior to KFC, but unfortunately, as locals, we have found that it is not always open when we pass by. It is best not to plan on dining here.

The food at this restaurant is not great overall, but the chicken is good. The dishes are cooked to order and are always fresh. The restaurant is located next to other food stands, and they seem to be in competition with each other.

If you're in Ridgeway and craving crispy fried chicken, be sure to check out Chester's. I highly recommend getting takeout. The chicken and potato wedges were both freshly cooked and perfectly crispy. The chicken was cooked just right - not like some other places in the area where it's overcooked and too salty. Chester definitely knows how to do it right.

Large Breasted Chicken and Fresh Cut Pommes at a reasonable price. Excellent service from Heather. Too bad it's going to end to make improvements on the south coast. Will be missed.

We love chesters chicken the potato wedges that are breaded seasoned fried. I wish I could say with all the heavenly crispy goodness because sometimes a bunch of the crispy crunchy chicken goodness nocked off when they are digging to find the pieces...desired. She also has hand dipped hard ice cream that is just wonderful. I highly recommend their chicken that says alot since I am from the south.
