Finally the waiter came by, took our order ribs for me, ravioliis for my friend, but after almost an hour wait, we asked the manager for the bill. he asked us to stay and promise that he will do his best to improve our experience: he brought on our table a plate half raw! french fries qualify this as a gift from the house while we wait for our dishes. Finally, they brought what they called raviolis, with garnel filled: a bundle of roasted garnel! but they gave me 15 minutes more waiting for my ribs, and they were not good at all. no apologies of her part, it was a regular Friday evening in the herd. the two barkeepers even seemed enthusiastic about our unhappiness. we paid our bill 500 pesos for the two! and went as fast as possible, disgusting, angry and still hungry. a really bad sweat.
This is probably one of the worst experiences I have ever eaten in my natal city. the drinks are good enough, but since this place is not a bar, but a restaurant I have to check the meals. wait, I knew since the waiters (three of...them) forget the order for more than 80 minutes (deliberately or not.) to ask the engaged was unsuccessful that we never got them. the only one I got were the appetizers and believe were mediocre the most, they can stand the same (is better) in any street food (puesto.) I was so mad, I never thought that this place was so inappropriate for their customers. isn't it fair to play with the time and hunger of men, and they dare to burden them for it?
Duke’s is a very visible restaurant with decor a few generations past. but the cook is what it is about. pedro abascal shall be the chef's chef; believe me that he has arrived a great time. we had the luck, prepared a special menu for our week of culinary tour. the eating abascal prepared was the highlight for me. extraordinary aromen and presentations were reported by a master trader to a main meal.
The first time that I was at this place wqent was on 2011, I wanted to go there because the owner is a guy who speaks a TV program that speaks about the best restaurants, fashion, place, everything about style. So I thought it would be good and I don't regret it, it's the best place I've ever been here in mexiko, I loved the service, the cocktails, the food, the place, so chic. If you ever come to mexiko, you have to go there.
