I have been to this place many times for the past 5 years and have to say it is sad how it's original quality has been lost. The steaks textures was awful , the worst I have seen in any steak place. We left half...what we ordered and I'm waiting to see the effect later tonight. Will never, ever be back at this place. Sometimes price affordability is not worth it. Hope the pictures are published so you can see the texture issue I'm referring to. Argh!!!!
I went there at 20:30 a.m. and asked for a cup of weeping, tearing and flesh. they close the kitchen service at 9:20 and from there they begin to clean, play between the waiters, and choose all the things on their table. the second they end, very uncomfortable. eating is average, Provencal kartoffels are the best in the menu.
While I have visited several times in recent years, I feel the quality (going with the price) is average. we visited a business lunch while in the santa fe area and this time service was better than previous okassions. steaks are only average. the selection should be improved. in consideration of the quality of the meal was the price fair. if they need a moderate price steak house in the opposite, this could be.
Good meat and soups, try the lentejas soup. Good service and reasonable prices. Try dulce de leche in desserts. The one in San Angel is nice.
