Nobu - CUAJIMALPA DE MORELOS

Low class Nobu. It looks like a cafeteria inside. They stuffed everyone on the supposed outside terrace that is covered. So you have more chance of catching covid. They seated us outside and told us we can also sit inside in a bit. Then they...give a table right next to the kitchen door, where there is 10 people with plates moving thru per minute. Inside, you have good looking people. This Nobu is not attracting the top clientele like elsewhere in the world, the menu items look really cheap. They are just ok looking people. The service is poor. They ended up calling the manager who couldn’t make a decision and he said he can’t seat us inside where there was nobody sitting. So they have stupid covid policies. They are not able to use their logic. If you want lunch, this is a lunch Nobu not a dinner Nobu. Expect cafeteria level service and you will be happy.

I’m fan of NOBU I live in Middle East (DUBAI-DOHA) and I came to Mexico to visit my family and I haven’t tried NOBU in interlomas we had tried in Polanco but with COVID is temporary closed. I did a reservation to celebrate my birthday...with my family and i was a bit disappoint with the service, honestly for the amount you pay you need to received amazing service. First because is NOBU when you go to this king of places you expect an amazing service and food. I would like to remark 3 points very bad in the service and hopefully guys you can fix it. 1-The server didn’t not about the cocktails they have in the menu low knowledge about the drinks menu we ordered their cocktail champagne 95 and he said by bottle ? We said no the cocktail and he said I don’t know I have to show him with the phone. 2-They didn’t ask us if we have any allergy any nobu you go they ask you if you have any allergy to be aware 3-the hot appetizers came first than the cold ones we ordered to share. So doesn’t make sense. 4-every time the runner put the plate on the table he didn’t explained us the plate what I has on it. I’m a restaurant manager same hight quality in a casual fine dinning restaurnat so I pretty know what’s going on. Food is always delicious

Nobu has gotten thousands of reviews so mine will not add much to what has been said. Their sushi is spectacular in relation to that you can find in Mexico. Their entrees are very tasty but the portions do not correspond to the prices they...set for them. Their salads are definitely something else. Can’t go wrong here. Definitely the best for Japanese “nouveau-fusion” in MEXICO city.

The sushi is extremely good made from high quality ingredients. The menu offers some new twists on old classics. The decore is very modern and hip. I had a romantic dinner there and I found the music a little loud to chat. The waiters are...very nice and service is efficient. Would definitely eat there again!
