Casa Churra - Cuauhtémoc

We tried the tacos. Small, hot and delicious. The flautes, my friend loved it. But better to share as it is fried and very rich and heavy. The famous local soup dish, pozole, is waaaaaayyyyy tooo hot! Don't order it unless you are used to super spicy dish! Friendly waiter, fresh hot food, and the super fresh churos are unbeaten!

I only tried the churros in this place, so my review is only based on that. Great churros for a very reasonable price. The coffee was also good, and staff very friendly. Would definitely go back there for the churros.

Their potato Torta is the perfect level of spice and texture. The churros and hot chocolates were also delicious. Great brunch spot.

We came for dinner about 7pm and it was fairly busy. Despite my Spanish being pretty bad we ordered some quesadillas, tacos and a torte. The waiter read back our order to us. We got the quesadillas and the torte but the tacos never came.We then ordered a coffee and some churros. Got the coffee, no churros. It was very busy and I was unable to explain my problem in Spanish but both times the waiter repeated my order back to me.So the food was perfectly nice but be prepared with good Spanish if you want it to go smoothly.

I love churros! And this place makes me love them even more. 3 plain churros, in a nice size, fresh and crunchy for only 15 pesos. Loved every byte! It´s a shame, but I had those churros for lunch today.
