Bread is delicious, coffee, chocolate and breakfast are a must. The deko is very cute, minimalist but cosy and kind of shabby chic? :D I dig it, it makes you want to wake up late on a Sunday, drag yourself to DUO with a book and spend 4 long hours reading, drinking coffee and a pastry. Service was a bit slow but attentive and always with a smile. I will definitely come back and enjoy this place longer.
I went with my family to this small spot in La Roma, and I was really surprised, the place is cozy, we sat in a table that gives you the feeling of being home with book shelfs and books sign by the top Mexican Chefs in Mexico. With a great green juice, mexican coffee and a Menu that changes every week. The mosts in this place:1. Beans Soup2. Prosciutto Baguette3. ChilaquilesAnd the Bread is awesome
Agua del dia nice and smooth, a very well placed club sandwich with pan briochè, an amazing baguette very well presented (!) and nicely filled (nice section) with vegetables and cheese. Food cooked and realized with care and love. Ambient very cosy and bright, nice furniture, books and well mannered staff.
The place is quite nice, it is difficult to find because the sign at the entrance is small. But it is packed during the weekends so book a table in advanced. It is pet friendly! Which I loved :). The enchiladas are super good and the Chocolatino with something like "chocolate abuelita" is the best. The service is slow though. But for the rest I highly recommend it.
Great place, great brunch menu! - which is changed regularly so we're not bored. Delicious meals in a very friendly environment. Have both, salted and sweet. Bill of less than 150 pesos per person with coffee and everything! (I still cannot believe I paid that, considering the food was very good.) Could improve service, just a bit. In general, great! Call in advance for reservations or wait a bit, it's worth it.
