Puntarena Santa Fe - Cuauhtémoc

After my previous review, this place went down. the same expensive prices, but the service is very far from what was earlier. the waiters are too busy or too distracted to offer something. I would say that it seemed like they generally had something bad. shameful. pity that many restaurants in mexiko are not interested in all reviews of ta. that's one of them.

First time in this restaurant , nice deco, with a bar facing the shopping mall, main dinning room for no smokers, and a wonderful terrace for smokers. The hostess not kind, but the rest of the personnel very attentive. Mostly sea food, and I would...say, very good sea food. Limited wine list, but you can find some very nice ones. Make a reservation, very important.

Visited Puntarena the other day in Santa Fe and even though the food and service are still quite good, the prices have gone up and that put a dent in our lunch. I ordered a Hamachi Sashimi which was good and the Fish Steak American...Style which I felt was small and overpriced. The flavor was still good but I do think they have dropped a bit and have room to get better. For example I ordered a Gin and tonic and they no longer have the original excellent selection of Tonic Water. Don't get me wrong, it is a decent place but it used to be great and I feel it has lost some of the greatness. Their management needs to get back to work.

I can only say positive things about this restaurant, ceviches, tiraditos are superb. The roast octopus is delicious and the fish a la talla as well. Good service and very well serve tequila. Recommended

Fuimos a comer 2 personas. Nos insistieron mucho en pedir entradas al centro que no queríamos. Cuando el mesero se dio cuenta que no íbamos a consumir mucho alcohol ni platillos muy caros, el servicio fue un tanto distraído.La comida bastante buena. El servicio menos.
