A friend and I had lunch there a few days ago. We received a warm welcome from our waiter who spoke perfectly English. He brought us not only the menus, but soft blankets to cover our rounds and legs on a cool day. I only had it in the café restaurant at the Larga Museum in Lima. Nice touch. Both drinks and food are extensive. You can do everything from a sandwich to inventive salads to big main courses. They also serve for breakfast (but not on Sunday). We wondered if the sheer number of dishes on the menu was a sign that the food was bad. We don't need to worry. My friend had a vegetarian panini that she said was delicious and big frits that were obviously hand-cut and freshly cooked for perfection. They were crispy outside and delicate inside. I tried the salmon because I thought it was a real test for the cook. It deserved a 'A'. The waiter asked how I wanted it and it came boiled pink in the middle as I requested. The Quinoa 'Risotto' that accompanied it was delicious. The seating is on comfortable armchairs or sofas, and we had a view from the window to the Cuenca sign in San Francisco Plaza. This is not an "almuerzo" restaurant and the prices reflect this. But the warm and friendly service, the beautiful surroundings and especially the wonderful food is worth it. We go back to dinner to taste one of the interesting cocktails and desserts. La Cofradia is a great addition to the Cuenca dining scene.
Had the best time here. at the beginning, eating is amazing; large menu and my friend had no problem getting a vegan option for them. Drinks are amazing, good size and tasty and cheap in comparison to other raised places. the personal was very accommodating when considering that it was at this time in the restaurant. we have reached the main entrance of the hotel. would come back if I visit cuenca again safely
Excellent eating, great music and atmosphere, excellent service. Eating is hearty here.
This is one of the best places that cuenca has had only coffee, but the menu she was offered was great, definitiw again for more! they speak English and Spanish and they are very friendly!
