Cafe Alondra - Cuernavaca

The cafe Alondra makes a useful place to rest during the visit of Cuernavaca. I sat outside on the terrace, overlooking a statue of Humboltd (sic) and a red-excellent church (the Capilla de la 3ra Orden de S. Francisco de Asis). I order a Zahoria cake and coffee – the former became carrot cake, but possibly with added coconut. It was not a big coffee (nor great value) and I had to ignore an annoying Mariachi by sitting outside.

I have eaten twice here and love the food and the great service. It is on a street that is busy with providers, musicians and many passersby. Improved.

I read the reviews and it is an excellent choice for any food. Cake is really good and the breakfast combos amazing. I love this place!!

The location is awesome view of cathedral but on a nice quiet street for a peaceful meal. Juices and food were delicious.

We got together here for drinks and snacks and had a fun conversation with some people we'd met at the Palacio de Cortes. Lovely desserts.
