Cuero Pecan House Cafe

I drive back and forth through Cuero, and I’m glad I stopped here. Had a tuna salad sandwich and 2 of their packaged cookies that were for sale on the counter. The sandwich was GREAT! Reasonably priced. The cookies were better than I expected. The facility seems clean, and the service is friendly. I love “hometown” diners. I’ll be stopping in again!

Today we stopped by for a late breakfast while passing through Cuero. Menu prices were generally affordable and the employees were very attentive. Our orders were prepared very carefully. If I pass through that route again, I will definitely stop by. As for why I gave it 4 points instead of 5, the coffee, which is a must for breakfast, was very bad. It made me question how bad regular black coffee could be. I didn't know if it had pecan oil or what, but it was very bad. Please Change your Coffee ?

Great food, but it’s impossible to get ahold of them at lunch. Me and my friends all have the same issue. If you Order literally an hour before you want your food you cannot call in at lunch. They disconnect the phone or something so you can’t even get a ring when you call. I even hear that they purposefully don’t answer the phones. Which yes I understand they get busy at lunch, but you would think they would want the extra business. I still love their food it’s just takeout that is impossible. So you absolutely have to go in person at lunch and it gets loud and packed.Dietary restrictions: Kinda healthy, but a keto option for the avocado wrap would be nice as they have low-carb wraps at H-E-B and would be an easy add on.

I was driving through this town , seen signs all over about it , had to see what the fuss was about . The sandwiches were outstanding, with a side of potato chips and a pickle . The tea was great . Stop in grab some pie or cookies . The atmosphere was nice. Seemed like everyone knew everyone smiling faces everywhere . Nice sweet town ? will be coming back for sure

Had a turkey, avacado wrap. Love the chipotle mayo!! Came with enchilada soup. Didn't disappoint! I'm a huge fan of this place now. Staff was friendly. Dining room is wide open and spacious. I would drive outta my way to eat here. Excited to try the breakfast menu and more lunch stuff.
