Tepoznieves - CUILÁPAM DE GUERRERO

Son and I visited Tepoznieves in the spring during his first visit to Taxco-my fourth. He was not in the mood for an ice cream, but I was thrilled by the passion fruit and the spicy, tangie whose names I forget. In addition to exotic fruit aromas, they also wear conventional to please every palate. On a warm day there is nothing like a fruit ice cream to pique your appetite and lift your minds, especially when you enjoy it while sitting in the magnificent plaza facing the beautiful Catedral Santa Prisca.

We have been customers of Tepoznieves for a long time, and when we visited Taxco this time, we remember why. All flavors, but especially the own creations of Tepoznieves are really delicious.

This shop is right at the main square and a perfect place to take a load of the feet, people watch and have an exotic niece (not Helado ice cream). Nieves are more like a sorbet and it's easy to have one more time on...day as they are light and there are so many flavors. Try Mangolin Mango with sharp Chili-Calc.

I beg you, please eat here while in Taxco! There are imitators, so don 't be fooled. This place has so many delicious flavors. The staff is very helpful, you can try lots of flavors before you settle on your favorites. Try anything beso , as they...have a combination of ingredients. Our group favorite is Mil Flores , but there 's always classic flavors. I love that they added non-milk options too. If these were the last pesos in my pocket, I 'd spend them here!!

When I was a kid, Baskin Robbins had 31 flavors and that was a big deal. I think Topeznieve must have close to 100 flavors of Nieve, which is an icier, albeit creamy alternative to ice cream. Try the more unusual flavors, like tequila or...one of the odd fruits you can only find in Mexico. A nice treat after a long day of silver shopping!
