They now offer far more gluten free options, I think that they could offer a few more options that are vegetarian gluten free. Just as well they make a mean gluten free pizza and an excellent chilli basil stir fry as that keeps me happy. This club has really pulled their socks up in my opinion. As a club you couldn't fault them even before but as a place to eat they used to be terrible if you had a special diet. Now they are great. Weekdays you can't beat their cheap lunch menu . There are so many options. Price wide they have so many specials on different nights between $10-$12. From parmigiana nights with massive portions to sizzle plates and Asian plates. Its great for the kids too as there is a play area to entertain them . Well done my only complaint would be put more vegetarian gluten feee on the menu guys. But 500% percent on 18 months ago.
The food at this restaurant is excellent with great choices between chinese and international plates. Everyday specials make it a cheap eat with quality. If your in Culburra this is the place to eat.
After a very dismal effort last November - Jan I nearly gave up on eating here. A friend visiting insisted we go to the club. I really didn't want to go as being coeliac and vegetarian last time boiled veggies was my only option. To my surprise the black swan coffee shop now offers gluten free pizzas . They are delicious. I've been back since many times I've had a beautiful vegetable stir fry with chilli and coriander too. There are many more items on the menu. Their $6.90 members lunches are amazing value if you are a member. $7.90 if you aren't. The best part is if you don't feel like cooking or going out they do take away. They have eftpos facilities to pay for your meal and are open longer than most takeaway in the Main Street. In 6 months the improvement has been amazing . My request to them would be don't stop there some vegetarian salads for summer would be great that are GF .
I've eaten here several times now; the first visit was not great but subsequent outings have been enjoyable. My friend and I ordered from the "Australian" menu the first time, not realising the chef is Asian. Her roast beef and my chicken schnitzel were ok but not great. However the next couple of visits with family and friends we ordered from the Asian menu with great results. Chilli basil vegetables and the country-style salt and pepper chicken are stand outs. It's a typical club experience; bright lights, queue to order at the register, no frills tables and cutlery; and the ever present dings of the pokies in the background. But the serving sizes are generous, the ingredients fresh and the flavours lively. Value for money is excellent. Drink prices are affordable and the staff are friendly and helpful (service is quite quick). Families can also rent iPads to keep the kids occupied and there is a kids' menu. The brasserie also offers a takeaway service.
Went to Bowling Club for dinner on Friday night. In & out in under an hour. Quick service of meals, the table had a range of kids meals, seafood basket & various steaks. Reasonable price & tasty
