After having a great race at the nearby racing center, we stopped for dinner at the La Casa de Nerea, in Cullera. This is not a restaurant on the beach but on a side street. We asked for the house specialities hamburguesa del chef, pizza Nerea. On top, I ordered a chuleton, as a beef lover would do. All dishes were great. The chuleton came with fries and grilled vegetables, on a mini grill, which kept it warm for the time I needed to “process” it. Certainly I needed help with it and my son was happy to jump in. Along with 4 non alcoholic drinks, the bill came in at less than 45 euros. Just great!
First visit was a family sit down and we ordered pizza which l have to say was amazing from the wood fired oven with good service. Second time, we phoned our order in for take away and told 45 mins which was OK as we were not too hungry. When we arrived, one pizza was boxed (going cold) and the others had not even been put in the oven as we're still being made which was strange. Not sure if they had given ours to someone else but the result when we got home was one cold pizza and two that had not had enough time in the oven to crisp the base. I would go back based on the first experience but wouldn't order take out.
Great. It is a very normal place but pizzas are very good, good price and the waiter is a charm. We meet at home.
Very good, very friendly, fast and efficient. quite acceptable food, very rich and pleasant local pizza
