Institution of a place that has been around since 1942. The pastrami sandwiches are massive and delicious. The pastrami is thinly-sliced. We also got the chili cheese fries, which weren’t as unique as the sandwich. Nice ambiance. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Waaaaay to expensive. Great Customer Service and Nice place to sit around the fire pit but the Pastrami was mediocre at best. I was originally charged $46 for a Pastrami and Chili Cheese Fries. No drink. After inquiring about the price, I found I was being charged $1.75 for a slice of cheese on my sandwich and $2.75 for the cheese on the chili fries. Wife asked for ranch and that was additional $4.50 and my peppers were $3.25. I will stick with the Johnny’s on Adams Blvd.
Best pastrami I've ever had. I just happened to drive by and I said that's a cute diner, I'm going to turn around and try it. This place is a local treasure.
