I had a fantastic sandwich that was well worth the price. The menu was delightfully minimal, offering just two options, which I found refreshing and straightforward. The accompanying items were spot on, and the custom hot sauce was excellent.
I feel proud to support my fellow Tapatíos and enjoy their delicious food in a spotlessly clean place with friendly service. The famous tortas ahogadas and the lomo tortas have a classic and authentically Tapatío flavor; they are like a culinary treasure. Moreover, I can't resist their churros, which are available after 4 PM.
Amazing tortas! The ahogada is unlike anything I've ever experienced. And the carnitas in the cubano? Pure genius! The service was excellent and very friendly too. I can't wait to return!
When I asked a woman inside if they were open, she shouted "NO!" in a rather rude manner. It was baffling to me that they would allow a dog to roam around the restaurant like that, especially in such a small space. It felt very unprofessional and unsanitary. The owner appeared to be preparing food and even wore an apron, which I found off-putting given the circumstances. I used to be a loyal customer, but I don’t think I will return after this experience. It’s no surprise that people get sick from eating out when restaurants operate like this. I felt compelled to share what I witnessed today.
