One menu item, and the quality seems to vary, but on a good day they're not bad! And the spicy is legit.
This place was really good! I was surprised that there was such an authentic Chinese place in the middle of the mall. The main dish is a chicken and rice bowl with dried mushrooms, ginger, and other spices. The flavor is very authentic, very soy-heavy, very salty. While I agree with others that the meal is quite salty, I do know that this kind of dish IS really a salty savory dish to begin with. I really liked having mine with the broccoli on the side and was surprised by how piping hot it comes out. Give it a try; it's way different from Americanized Chinese chicken dishes, but it's really good especially on a cold day!
The spicy is actually pretty legit spicy, which surprised me given it's mall food! The chicken, at least today, was pretty good. Some people complained it was rubbery so I was a bit concerned, but it matched well with the sauce and rice. Although honestly it was spicy enough I probably lost some of the flavor subtleties in the heat , I would agree it's not exactly the most flavorful out there. honestly spicy usually doesn't bother me, I think I nom'ed down two dozen slices of chilis before I realized it was actually getting to me! They do have admirable focus exactly one dish! And the pricing, for a mall food court, isn't too awful. 3.5 stars.
