Captain D's Seafood - Cumming

I always come here to eat because the food is consistently fresh. Even if there’s only one or two staff members working and I have to wait a little longer, the meal still arrives hot and accompanied by excellent customer service!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The meals are delicious and reasonably priced, and everything is freshly cooked. The restaurant itself is very clean, and the customer service is outstanding. Our food was perfect, and the shrimp were amazing! All the staff were friendly and helpful. I absolutely love this place—kudos to Captain D's! I dined there on June 20, 2022, and enjoyed a fantastic meal. The only downside is that it can be frustrating not knowing when the dining room will be open, as they close it at different times. Overall, great service!

The hushpuppies were mixed in with the mac and cheese, and the okra was soaked in the green bean juice, which ended up on both the mac and cheese and the hushpuppies. The bread was soggy and not appetizing at all.

The actual stand-alone brick-and-mortar building is older, but it’s well-maintained and clean. The woman at the front was the sweetest person imaginable. I typically use the drive-thru when I'm in a hurry, but today I decided to go inside and sit down, and I'm really glad I did. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent.

Waited for 15 minutes at the speaker to order, after having to ask hello to even get someone to acknowledge us, we repeated our order twice because they didn 't get anything the first time and STILL they forgot our side of Mac n cheese for my son. This is beyond ridiculous. We also waited about 15-20 at the window after waiting to even be asked what our was. You 'd be better off finding a different captain ds to go to and getting all the food that you actually ordered and in a decent time frame.
