I had a delicious meal in Cupertino! The location is fantastic, and there is a wide range of dishes to choose from. The seafood is fresh, the spices are exquisite, and the service is excellent! Every time we visit, we always order the Stewed Boiled Pork with plastered cabbage (which is homemade sauerkraut) and the C01 steamed fish fillet with tofu.
Northeastern-style eggplant: 5/5 Steamed fish over tofu: 5/5 Fries with pork in pots: 5/5 (although they could be a bit less crispy) Stuffed lamb: 5/5
Pretty good Chinese food with a variety of North and South cuisine. Some of our favorites were the soup dumplings, cut beef pancakes, Dandan Noodles, and Glutinous Rice Balls with Fermented Sweet Rice Soup (N01). Service was friendly and food came in a timely fashion. We were there early and didn't have to wait for a table. The prices were reasonable.
I've passed by this restaurant many times and finally decided to give it a try. The inside was only ~half full, so I was able to sit immediately. Wasn't sure what I was in the mood for, but saw the spicy fish filet dish and couldn't resist! Ordered that with a small bowl of rice. Food came out pretty quickly, and the fish was perfectly tender and flaky. I was a little disappointed at the sauce, as it wasn't as spicy as I'm used to in other restaurants. It's still tasty, just not to my expectation. Will come back to try other dishes!
