I asked the barista how it worked, whether we should help ourselves and sit down at a table or wait for service. She pointed us to another counter on the right and told us to wait there. A waitress came over and asked us if we wanted to sit inside or outside in one of the two outdoor areas. I inquired about their service options, like à la carte or buffet, but they had just opened and did not have a website or menu available. We were told to order drinks at one counter and food at another, which I found inconvenient. We decided to sit outside and were shown to a table that needed to be cleaned. After waiting for a long time, we finally saw a menu at the bar. The prices seemed high for a suburban pub with no table service. We left without ordering as we felt the prices were excessive and the service was lacking. It's important for this restaurant to reconsider their pricing and service if they want to attract and retain customers in the suburbs of Perth.
I have ordered from this restaurant a few times now, and every meal has been delicious.
The food at this restaurant was disappointingly over-fried with no fillings in the eggrolls or chicken balls.
I love the food, doesn't make me sick, and you gotta try the candied fruit for dessert! Friendly service, and reasonable price! Too bad they don't deliver
My husband & I went here last Saturday for lunch. Upon arrival there was a coffee/cake counter to the left. I asked the Barista how it works - do we help ourselves to a table or wait to be seated. Without so much as a glance, she nodded to another counter across to the right & a little further along & told us to wait there for service. We walked over & a female waitress arrived & asked us if we wanted to sit inside or outside at one of the 2 outdoor areas. i asked what type of service they were offering - al a carte, buffet, what. They'd only just opened, there was no website & no signage within. Was told to order food at this counter & order drinks at that counter as she pointed in 2 directions. How stupid that you couldn't order both at one counter., I thought.anyway, we requested the outside near the bar & were told to head out there. I questioned whether there was any seating available there. I seemed to have made a request that wasn't part of her job description as she seemed perplexed with my query; however after the mightiest sigh I'd ever been given, she went out there & came back. & told us there were 2 tables of 6 out there. There was no one else around us & I confirmed there was only 2 of us but that seemed to be ok. She then walked off to service other tables, so we made our own way out there & found a table, which was dirty, so had to find staff to clean. Upon cleaning, we waited... And waited... And waited for someone to provide us with a menu. In the end, we went looking & found 1 at the bar. Back st our table, we viewed the menu. It was normal pub grub but seemed overly expensive for a suburban pub & even more considering there wasn't any table service. Up to $50 for a fried seafood platter for 1,There was no signage to advise there was an executive chef direct from a 5 star restaurant in London! In disgust we walked out as I couldn't justify those conditions v's those prices.Who do these people think they are?? Charging excessively for standard fare & then expecting the diner to line up to order food, then shuffle across to the next line for a drink? Get over yourself. We are in suburban Perth. We want a local pub with a local atmosphere. You're not going to last unless you change your ways & prices real quick.
