I’ve been looking for fish chips like no other for a long time, and bi golly I believe I’ve found the perfect dish right here. This place was fresh upon entry, the clerk was pep for service, and so were the cooks; no long wait. Got home in 10 min and without delay washed my hands hesitated before opening, hoping/praying grease wasn’t a sub feature flooding the contents. Mercy me! This food was good, non greasy, fresh and plain old delicious fish and chips. I’m a picky, finicky eater and don’t do coleslaw (nor any other condiments) just plain fish and chip. But I do make a mean, addictive, cheese broccoli casserole (organic broccoli/best cheese) that is perfect with fish (only seafood I eat), and it’s delicious. It’s a protected recipe but I often make it for friends when they request and press. My cheese broccoli casserole will take any restaurant serving delicious food like Little Fishermen’s Fish Chips to a whole new level. My new go to place when eating out. Thank you Little Fishermen…. Attached picture shows where I had to calm myself and stop eating so that I could take a picture and save some for later. So Yummy!Parking: The location appears to be a popular spot but I found a space just behind the restaurant; no far walking; ordered in my car and went in to pay. Out in no time. If you see a line from the door going outside, that may cause a little delay.
Saturday, 7/22/34; 4:00 2nd visit (fish chip), same order, except 3 pcs. Disappointed, food was not fresh as the first time. I can certainly tell the difference. I drove the same distance home, washed my hands, and dove in. The fish and fries had no warmth no heat. It was as dead food to the palette as if cooked yesterday and microwaved today. There were few people today as opposed to my first visit, which was later, where people were inside and outside on patio. So maybe choosing the day or best time is most essential if you want fresh food. Also, they have the tip machine options which is a pro and con when it comes to the treatment you get. I included a tip (the least) only because I didn’t have my food yet (a potential strategy). But why am I or anyone tipping? For you to bring me my carry out? For my patronizing your business? For you to do the job you’re paid to do? In my case I paid 15% extra for the guy to bring me my carry out, which was not hot and fresh. Oh, he offered a cut for water, after the tip. Oh okay. Thank you; I guess. I may be over it.Parking: Not a lot of traffic and lots of spaces available.
Had fried cod and popcorn shrimp combo. The food was extremely delicious from the coslaw to the French fries. Can't wait to come back.Food: 5/5
I highly highly recommend visiting this spot if you like seafood. I have been frequenting this spot with my family since they opened. They have a wide variety in their menu from Fish and chips, burgers and sandwiches, bowls, salads, tacos, and plates of fish with rice or your choice of side. You won't be disappointed with anything you try from their menu. The owner is there from time to time and he is the kindest person you'll run into. He is grateful for your business and he always speaks to his customers. The staff are all very customer service oriented! All very polite and helpful and they go out of their way to accommodate you. The restaurant is always clean. They have booth seating, bar top seating, and regular table seating. It isn't huge inside, but there is plenty of room inside and outside. They are very efficient and you're never waiting a long time for your food. One more thing to tell you, their seafood is ALWAYS FRESH!! I have never had any of it where it wasn't fresh or tasted extra fishy from being old. They care about the quality of the food they are putting out and about their customers. I have recommended this spot to several friends and they all ended up loving it and became repeat customers too. Give it a try if you're in the mood for some seafood.
This spot is a seafood lover's delight! It's located in a plaza next to other food places with tons of parking spots. Once you enter, you are greeted by a fishy interior with tons of fish hung up around the spot. The staff here are very nice and accommodating. You order at the counter and the servers bring your food to you. There is indoor or outdoor seating. Wifey and I got the fried oysters, skiff, and fisherman's boat. The fisherman's boat was the best bang for your buck in my opinion since you get some fried fish, fried shrimp, and fried calamari! Don't forget to use some of that malt vinegar they have as well!
